They all do that regardless of the bearing condition. The belt makes the noise, not the bearing.
Run the engine down hills or put it in Neutral.

My cart has been worked on by different people. I know the wiring was all messed up for the lights but I got that straightened out . 1984 jakes lift kit aluminum wheels full top. I've added brake light and turn signals

Forgot to mention, I rebuild the old flathead KF82 , runs great but can't compete with the Fe290 or 350 I want to up grade to newer but $$$$ and hard to find.
The crankshaft was hard to find for the KF82 , found one $435.00 even all other parts are crazily priced.

Notice curtain in back? Hides the cooler.
