I want a little more power/speed?
Okay...I have a 2007 EZGO TXT that is stock..but I have adjusted the regulator a little...I'm just wanting to know if there are any other adjustments that are worth doing that would not be extremely difficult. Like the stronger clutch spring kit or I think I've heard something about using a shorter belt..I'm kind of new to all this and just looking for some advise before I go doing all these so called "upgrades" that are not worth the time.
Thank you Dennis |

Re: I want a little more power/speed?
The shoeter belt and the spring kir are both going to givr you more low end torque. The belt lowers your first gear ratio and the spring will keep the clutch in first gear longer.
High speed gears will improve the top end but you sacrifice low end torque using them. However, if you use the shoter belt along with the high speed gears it might not be as great a loss down low. |
