Default G9 has no spark

Ok, I have a G9 with a new igniter, new solenoid, and a new coil. I have limited testing tools, but i do have a test light. Not sure what good the test light really is, but it lights up when i put the neg. battery side to the hot side of wire going to the coil, and it lights up when i go from pos. side of battery to neg. coil wire. When i test from neg. of battery to end of plug wire, i get nothing. All the testing is done with the pedal pressed and starter turning engine. Driving me crazy, please help!

Rice, the best thing I could tell ya is, go to sears and get a multi meter. Not very expensive. Then go up to the stickys above and follow; So your yami won't turn over. You've spent alot of money on parts, I don't think it will be difficult to fix now.

That sticky will help you through all of it. I have a feeling you have a wire in a wrong place.

Ok. I have a volmeter now. I have close to 13v everywhre i checked i the "so your yammi wont stat" thread, except at my coil. On the red/white stripe wire, I am getting only 9v. I traced the orange wire from the other side of the coil and it goes back to the ignitor, which is new. Do i have a bad voltage regulator?

Wow. That didnt make alot of sense at all. Let me try this again. What should my voltage be at the coil with the pedal pushed? I am getting 9v. Thanks.

9 volts may be telling you, you have a weak battery

Bare with me please. If it has enough juice to turn it over, wouldn't that be enough juice to make it spark though. Should I have at least a full 12v at the coil? Thanks again

you wouldn't think a new coil would have a bad plug wire? I dunno, maybe put your old one back on and try it just for the heck of it?
