Default Adjusting the auto braking

I know that's not the name for it. Talking about the brake that kicks in when you go down a hill or let off the acc pedal. Most people think it's a governor. 1998 Electric Club Car.
Is there a way to eliminate it or adjust it? It seems really strong.

Thanks

Remove the two wires connected to the " A2 " terminal on the controller and join them together. This will disable the " plug-braking ". Actually a lot of folks on here recommend doing this!

I don't know of a setting you can do for it, but someone else may.

I believe that the pre-IQ cars can only have the regen braking disabled via the method described here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...n-braking.html. . IQ cars can, I believe, have regen braking disabled or changed (I think there are 3 settings from mild to aggressive) via programming change . . .

Was still a little confused about how to do this (several different ways given) I saw post on how to disable the speed sensor & saw a pic of the two types of sensors. I went & unhooked the sensor plugin & took the cart around the block. NO REGEN brake! That's all it took was to unplug that connection.

THANKS GUYS!
Here's a pic of the connection
