I am liking the cold air intake. You figure that this helps with your bottom end? Were they stock parts that you used or did it take a while to source the stuff?

I got my filter and 3" to 2 1/2" reducer off ebay. It was cheaper then going to o'reilly auto parts store and getting everything from them. If you look at 1lane66's post on cold air intake he gave part numbers for what you need if you got them from o'reilly.

The cart does start nicer and seams to have better power on the low and middle.

Thanks for the reply. I read his post after I posted this and I guess the question is, is Oreily's similar to a Napa or autopro? I have never heard of this company or is it a custom parts company. I will have a look on ebay though and see what I can track down.

the oldie is lookin good..nice and clean in the engine compartment looks great to!
i jst stumbled on to a 85 myself and it is butt ugly lol..runs ok but i hear a rattle at high speed..well,high speed is slow compared to the 4 stroke ezgo i used to have..any pointers on anything will be a great help..i think i need to replace the belt with a inch shorter one,,cold air induction a must,,
any tips on anything that can be done to the clutches? the smaller one has some wierd pointy tips on it and looks kinda wrong to me,,id love a few pics of the 2 clutches if poss,thanksjohn

Nice Intake! For my fender flares on my 88 i got txt flares and used a hair drier to bend them to fit. Isnt perfect but it works

id love to see the newer flares you put on th old cart..i like the looks of the newer ones but curious what they would look like first

i had my cold air filter in the engine bay and moved it to a snorkel above my head and now it runs like crap? too much air i guess..any suggestions..?

I found the reproduction mud guards for our carts. The part # is 3023. I found a few places that carry them. I got them but haven't put them on yet.

are they the ones that look similar to the bushwacker style flares? i like the look of them when you have a wider stance on a cart..i dont like the look when a cart is stock width tho

They look like the original rubber ones.
