36v battery hook up question
I purchased this cart with the wiring this way. The posted wiring diagrams shows a (green?) wire going to positive terminal of battery number 4. Is this wired incorrectly? I am worried specifically if the green wire is in the wrong place.
I have the resistor coils so my cart should be a v-glide. |

Re: 36v battery hook up question
Hard to tell by picture for sure but if that ( GREEN-BLUE cable ) other end goes to F&R control its for ( ONE HALF REVERSE SPEED ) and would be correct.

Re: 36v battery hook up question
Old MEC is right it is the positive side of the reverse power supply.
Club Car did this as a safety feature so that the carts would be slower in reverse. If this safety feature is no longer needed. you can simply loop the green cable back to the F&R terminal right next to it where the red cable connects, coming from the battery pack main +. Lots of people do this for off road use where 1/2 power reverse is undesirable. |
