Default Price on non-running cart

Whats a good price on a non-running electric ez go? Owner doesn't know what year it is and says it just needs new batteries but it doesnt move at all. Looks to be from around the 80s, maybe early 90s. He wants $350. Whats the worst case scenario cost on fixing (replacing everything).

Thanks!
Mike

That's an open ended question. We would need pics to guesstimate that.
Top of my head says 1500 and up.

The charger alone could be worth couple hundred.

If it doesn't move then you can't test other areas. Tons of people on this forum buy carts that they were told only needed just this or that to find out it needed a lot more then they had planned. If I can test it properly I price it as a parts cart. Highest I've ever spent on one that didn't run was $125 for a G2 with no engine but a perfect frame and body.

I agree!! I bought a cart I couldn't test, it would barley roll! I replaced battery tray, wires, batteries, cleaned it all up and she came to life, like the seller said she would. What he didnt tell me was I needed new bearings in the motor! Luckly got those change and motor checked out great!! Im in it for$1000 in repairs!

Mike, as long as you go into it with the knowledge that it is electric and that means sitting idle does it no favors, you should be fine at that price. Check the frame for rust and corrosion. That's about the worst you'll have to contend with.
