Default 97 Ezgo TXT low power at higher rpm

Im hoping you guys can point in the right direction here.I just recently converted this cart over to HEI because the ignitor was bad.Its got great spark now but wont rev out at higher rpms.It runs great all the way until you try to rev it all the way up.I've noticed a big power lose climbing a steep hill too.I've checked everything I know to like reversing the pulsar leads and making sure I've got good grounds.I also adjusted the valves while I was at it.Any ideas of something I've overlooked?
