Default EZ-GO Motor and Controller Question

I am looking at a EZ-GO 2004 36V. The Guy says it needs a new motor, solonoid and controller. I will be using it at deer lease. What would you experts recommend and where to get for best price? Is there a place to get a package deal on all of this? Its not the cheapest deal I have found but it looks pretty cool so I am thinking about it. Not sure what do you Guys think?
Thanks
Newbie

Welcome To BGW!

First determine which drive system you have, PDS has the toggle F&R switch on the dash and series has the lever below the seat.
We need to know what size tires you will run.
How many people will ride on it.
What type of terrain you will be running in?
How fast you need to go.
From there we can start making an educated suggestion.

Not sure about the motor size. Two People on small hills and rocks. Use on deer lease and just crusing around. Here is a pic. What do think its worth?
Says motor is going bad and he sold the controller and solonoid out of it.
Thinking by the time I spend all that money on it I maybe could just buy one already done. But I am not sure. Maybe I should get a gas that way I do not have to mess with batteries? Maybe just use 3 12v deep cycle batteries in series. I am assuming 36v is 36v just may not run as long. I am new at this and I have to figure all this out.
Thanks

You need the large Golf cart batteries for mass amperage storage, any other battery combo will result in poor performance and short run time. Even marine deep cycle types.

It is worth fixing for sure. Many of the carts you see that look ready to go are stock under the seat. They need a controller & cable upgrade too
