If the Run/Tow switch was in Run and the cart was pushed or towed (or hit the ground while moving) at more than 2 MPH, it could have taken out the controller and/or motor and/or one or more batteries.

How fast was truck moving when cart came off the bed?
Did the rear wheels of cart drag on pavement any distance before cart came all the way off truck?

Checked all the wiring and looks like the controller is bad. any way to check it to be 100%?

the truck was doing around 70 and it came off. it didnt drag, just seen it sliding all over the road till it came to a stop. one thing, the cart is not easy to push. im not sure how easy or hard they should be but it dont roll easy. its hard for one person to push it.

At 70 MPH, the motor was trying to spin at 16,822 RPM, but the tires probably slid some.

When the Run/Tow is in Run and the cart moves at more than 2 MPH, the controller applies full regenerate braking and the kinetic energy spinning the motor generates an electrical current. Some of the current recharges the batteries, some of it is dissipated as heat in the motor and some of it is dissipated as heat in the controller.

I'm not surprised the motor melted and I doubt if the controller fared any better, but we can do a little checking.

The first thing is getting the solenoid to click.
Attach DVM negative test lead to main negative post on battery pack.
With Run/Tow in Run, key on, F/R in F and pedal pressed, you should have full battery pack voltage on :
J1- Pins 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9
J3- Pins 1, 2, 3 & 4
J4- Pins 1 & 2
(Note: You have to go through the back side of the plug while it is plugged in to read the voltage)

If you are missing the voltage at any of those 13 pins, trace the wires back to the switch it goes to and fix the broken wire, connector or switch.

If you are getting all the voltages and the solenoid is not clicking, the controller is probably bad.

----------------
Pushing hard.
Is the parking brake released? (Brake pedal fully up)
It is a direct drive, so a messed up motor might spin very well.
Could be some damaged wheel bearings.

Cart weighs half a ton, so it takes a little to get it moving, but once it is moving, it should take much effort to keep it going. (About the same as push mowing a lawn, or less)

Likely a motor and controller combo. The Hi Amperage generated during this event would have been dumped into the controller and probably fried it.
When they say do not TOW in RUN they never guessed the cart would hit the pavement at 70 mph !

I know it seems like bad luck but really somebody could have been hurt and the cart could have been a total loss .... so you got lucky.
