2004 EZGO TXT PDS - Freedom Chip Problems
Hey guys, new to this forum. Have been through all the threads and can't find a solution so I'm hoping someone here can help me. Have a 2004 EZGO TXT PDS system & installed a freedom chip. When checking what setting (N-R 5 times) it only goes into "steep hill mode". Checked the connections several times and can't get it resolved. Have even taken single wires and tried connecting the 1-5 on its own but it only stays in "all terrain mode". If I take that same single wire and connect the 2-3 on its own it switches to "steep hill" mode without a problem. Any ideas/help would be much appreciated.

Re: 2004 EZGO TXT PDS - Freedom Chip Problems
Sounds like dirty contacts in J2 or the plugs (chips).
Try spraying with contact cleaner and plug/unplug several times while still damp. |
