Re: Plum Quick Motor
My ezgo motor gets real hot too, my brother in law has a club car precedent and the motor gets so hot it will burn your hand if you touch it.That might be normal.

Re: Plum Quick Motor
That doesn't sound too hot - if you could put your hand on it. Motors get warm - perfectly normal.

Re: Plum Quick Motor
Don't know about Plum Quick, but D&D said to keep my motor under 115°C, which is 239°F.
@ CROWN MAN: If you stock tires are Carlisle Links, the are 17.4" tall, so 20" would up you to a little over 17.2MPH mathematically and you will lose about 13% of the torque you now have. |

Re: Plum Quick Motor
Cable guy, I did have a little bit of trouble with mine, called plum quick and they told me to very gently pry it out enough to get the tube from a spray can near the top and soak it with liquid wrench or whatever you prefer. I did that and let it soak for ten minutes and used a rubber hammer and started tapping it side to side and back in towards the rear end after a few minutes it popped right out!

Re: Plum Quick Motor
I'll take it for the same ride tomorrow and put a meat thermometer on it when I get back, crude I know but I don't have a heat signature gun handy, we do use them at work though.
