Default no amps to solenoid

Installed second solenoid, we have volts throughout cart, but no amps to the solenoid. Just curious why?

We took out my new spm 300 amp controller, installed the original on my 95 medalist. We get solenoid to click with old controller. You think its programmed wrong? Or just a bad controller?

What does the LED do when the pedal is pushed? (Should be 4 green blinks, then solid green when programmed for an EZGO ITS throttle system.)

It is a SPM48300, SPN48300P or a SMP48300EZ?

Did you attach the Black wire from the solenoid to the "RLY COIL -" terminal on the SPM controller or leave it connected to the B+ terminal?

When we push the pedal it blinks 4 green.... the 1 green and 6 red.... "pre charge failure" We tested the resistor its good, reads at 227 ohms.... The controller I have is SPM48300EZ ITS and yes we disconnected black wire and installed it to -RLY coil

Measure the voltage on the controller's B+ terminal. It should be a few volts less than full battery pack voltage when the solenoid isn't energized.

If the voltage is right, I think it is time to give Alltrax a call.
