Default RPM Limiter Question

What advantage is there to cutting the beige wire to the rpm limiter? Thanks mine is cut.

Beige? or Brown?

The (brown) wire going to the left mounting bolt is the ground for the limiter,
in most cases, it's removed (or cut) from the mounting bolt so the engine won't shut down at higher RPM's!
(or if the limiter is bad, the cart won't start at all!)
