Re: newbie question
I can play 36 holes with no problem. The trogans have a little more lead in them and hold a charge a little longer but not that much. They also cost about twice as much. Energizer is a good brand and just keep them filled with distilled water and they should last just fine.

Re: newbie question
ok i made a 9 hour round trip yesterday and the cart is at my house now. the guy said it was sitting for a year and the batteries are the only problem. i seen some people saying about using a car charger just to get it running for a minute possibly so i know the batteries are the only thing that needs replace. is this true? and if so how do i want to do it? i would like to know if theres gonna be a lot of problems and things that need fixed or if the guy was right and its just the batteries.

Re: newbie question
It would be nice to know if the motor runs. There is nothing there that can't be fixed or replaced. It all depends what you are willing to spend. You may want to think about upgrading to 48 volts before you buy the batteries. A lot of people on this site can give you help in the conversion.
