2014 Yamaha G29 48v Reger Brake Noise
I have a stock 2014 Yamaha G29 48volt. It is making a grinding noise while coasting down hill. I replaced the armature grommet and anti seize and it was fixed for a day and then started back up. I also tried unplugging the Regen brake and it still makes the same noise. The transmission is not a white tag either.

Sounds like worn input shaft splines or worn motor coupler, or both. The fact that it did briefly go away tells me that's the area where the problem is.

Appreciate the help. How expensive and difficult are these to replace?

Input shaft requires axle to be split in half (if it's the team axle I think it is).
