Default EZ GO Throttle cable/carb modification

WTH is with this computer....
Modification of a governor can cause severe engine damage. Do not try this.
Hope you can tell what was done by the pictures. The original ball linkage on the stock carberator was removed by filing the back side and removing the ball. This leaves a hole for a new connection. I used a small screw and 2 nuts to connect the stock cable directly to the carb. Use threader locker or a locknut.
Next I made a bracket for the cable adjuster from a shelf bracket. I drilled a hole for my mounting bolt, bent it at an angle to get the correct position. Drilled another hole for the cable and cut a slot in it.
To hold the bracket in place, I removed the timing belt tensioner bolt. I found another bolt that was longer. re-installed the tensioner bolt and secured the bracket with a nut and lock washer on the back....
Oh. I didn't remove the clutch or the timing chain cover ot do this. The bolt is under the rubber plug. There is a washer in there. If it falls inside, then....

Nice work, the little doohickies and such are fun to do and keeps you thinking. When I am mowing I am designing something in my head.
