1990 Club Car won't stop!
I have a 1990 club car that I bought for my mom and It Wont stop and I am not talking about brakes. It wont turn off, go into reverse. You have to unhook the battery to make it stop. We replaced the main selinoid I am thinking it may have something to do with the v-glide but I am not sure. I looked on line and am not sure what to lookfor or order. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You need to put this cart up on jack stands or blocks to analize the problem. You will also need a voltmeter. Do you have these things?

Then grab a diagram from the stickies at the top of the forum and check your wiring to see if everything is in place.

Jack the cart up in the back to get the wheels off the ground. Take the rod loose of the gas pedal. Then shove the rod forward and see if it stops it maybe out of adjustment. I have seen this plenty of times.
You can move the linkage back and forth and see what happens. |
