Re: FE350 valve issue
First thing you need to know is that the FE350 has hydraulic lifters,
it may be a possibility that something is wrong with the OHC, (over head cam) lifters, or something else... this may help with your tear-down: |

Re: FE350 valve issue
Thanks,
The cam doesn't seem to be turning, like a broken timing belt. I hope these are non interference. Just asking the FE350 experienced before I blow this thing apart. My search turned up nada. |

Re: FE350 valve issue
Found the issue......No rivets in the cam gear.
No damage to any parts internally. looks like i could tap the cam and re-install the gear. I will need to know how to clock the cam and gear together. I could shoot in the dark, I would have a 25% chance. ;) Does anyone have a cam the can put there hands on? I need the relation of the lobe vs the timing mark. TIA Stevan. |
