Default Re: G16 with busted transaxle case

I have seen this a number of times. It comes from running over a rocks or curb.
First check and see if they continued to run it without oil and destroyed the gears. If the gears are worn, junk it. Find another one.
If not, I have taken ours to a welding shop that can make up an aluminum patch and weld it in place. It will cost a few bucks but it will maintain structural integrity.
