Is it possible to add a v twin and still maintain pedal start. I use my cart for yard work and jump off all the time to just grab a stick. I like the fact the cart instantly turns off. I’m getting into more off-roading and would like the extra torque of the twin

you could if you went with the 420 predator, its around the same price as the 670 though. So I went with the 670 and 8:1 speed gears on 22" tires, I run around 27-31 mph.

My '03 EZGO is key start and I do more yard work than I want to with it It just sits and idles in gear unless I shut it off. Sit down, slap the throttle and go.
18hp Vanguard, Comet clutch, cam change & rev kit. I have a mini-tach & I try not to turn it over 5,000RPM. GPS on my phone says 30-31mph. Plenty of torque but needs a posi rear. Had it together 5 or 6yrs and have about 300hrs on it.

I have g16 with a 16 horse ,rev kit, and a 23 horse cam . I relocated the oil filter so I can run a stock length g16 belt and cvtech 06 clutch

Is that a starter/generator on the front of that twin? If so, first one I have seen.

Well, it isn't finished, but it has a 670 Predator Twin, 8:1 high speed gears, governor disengaged, Equos tach to monitor revs, 23x10.50-12 tires. GPS measured at 30 MPH earlier today. Body is still being worked on, and lift and brakes are forthcoming, waiting on backlog. Once the lift gets installed, the plan is bigger tires, up to 26" or 27" if possible, but need to do some measurements. It's getting there.

In that pick yes I had the starter gen hooked up. It worked just fine. I have it hooked up key start with the briggs starter now.

Just did this over the last few days, was going to take it to my son way up in the Ozarks but not sure about that now.

This frame is actually the very first cart I bought way back when, put a briggs in it, then put a Robin stock 13hp back in, gave it to my neighbor, he gave it back a few years later, its been getting rained on, so I have stripped it and changed everything.

The muffler is amazingly quiet as is the engine, not sure if that is a good thing or not, it is going to be a work cart for on the farm, (with capabilities) lol

I have replaced just about every bearing seal and bushing I can find, it is a short body workhorse i am going to have to rework the bed some, the tailgate needs attention. Cowling and side covers I will do in camo wrap.
