27 mph is the top I can get out of the factory controller with tweaking parameters Im comfortable with. Anyone had better luck increase top speed on I60L? Im thinking maybe 27 mph is top end given 6 seaters weight.

I did get 30 mph reading on large downhill and it held at 29mph for 1/2 mile or so then level back out at 27.

accurate dash reading with gps reading.
I just turn 100 miles on mine and it might be getting faster. I also checked with gps and the speedometer seems to be right on. I thought that my i40L was maxing out at 27mph, but on a long run I got it to 30mph and maintained it. I told the dealer, before I picked it up to turn it up all the way.

Because you are hitting the 7200 rpm limit.

ok. your gear ratio and/or tire size might be different than I calculated. either way I suspect your problem is the rpm limit.

Yeah unfortunately some of the carts come with different gear ratios. This will end up limiting the speed. I know with a 10.5:1 ratio, I can enter 60.1kph.

Same issue here. Can’t program above 46.8. Max RPM is 6000, was set to 4000, and have upped to 5000.

I have a lifted I60L and the Factory Gear Ratio is 14.0 with Tire Diameter of .580.

This seems to be the limiting factor in the speed. 7200 rpm on the motor will be much slower on a 14:1 versus a 10:1.

Is that something I could change to 10:1 and see if the speed would increase? Or would that not be good for my cart? Sorry I’m not good with that kind of stuff…
