2013 Yamaha G 29 Gas
Just purchased a 2013 yamaha G 29 gas.
The guy said it has a new carb and fuel pump. When driving the cart it will start and go as long as you are not pressing the gas pedal all the way down. If you press all the way down it starts spitting and sputtering and almost cuts out completely. If you let back up about halfway then it takes off again. Any suggestions? Thank you |

Re: 2013 Yamaha G 29 Gas
I spoke with him again and you are correct, it is a cheap aftermarket carb.
I also, took the gas tank off. Cleaned it out. Took off the carb and cleaned it with some carb cleaner and removed the needle valves. Put it all back together and tried it. It runs better now but I have to choke it all of the time. I am thinking a new carb is in order. This is the 2013 G29. I can't find a serial number. What would be the correct carb to put on this? |
