Default 19HP Briggs V-Twin tapered shaft help

Hi I picked up this motor for super cheap with 140hrs but of course it has the tapered shaft. Does anyone know of an adapter I can use or a way I can make this work without having to pull the crankshaft? As you can see in my photos the shaft has .40” of 1.01” shaft and then it tapers to 11/16. I pushed the 1” adapter on just to see but it’s for sure not enough. I have a 16 Briggs in my cart now but wanted to upgrade to this since it needs rings anyway. I only have 2 weeks to figure this out so trying to see what my quickest options are. Any help is appreciated!

I don't know of any adapter made to do that, wish there was, many tapered engines out there that can't be used in a golf cart. The only way I know is to change the crank.

That’s my other problem even if I wanted to do that I can’t seem to find the compatible one. Any way to find out?

Can’t find one for a 19HP. I wonder if the 18HP is compatible?

570 is an 18hp engine. Don't know why that says 19hp. I've never heard of a GN-570, maybe that's a "rebranded" engine. Sometimes manufacturers do that so they don't have their name on the engine so another company can claim the engine as theirs. It's a brand recognition thing. If it's a Briggs engine, and it's a 570cc, then it's an 18hp. Check the valvecovers, do they say Briggs on them? I hope that's not a Chinese copy.

That is a B&S engine built for Generac. So the 570 cc 18 HP Brigss crank should fit. Briggs and Generac used to be very closely aligned until they both went their separate ways. Briggs did own Generac at one point but that didn't last. The 2 really started to compete after the Briggs bankruptcy in 2020.

Why not pull a few parts off and get a good look at the carb and intake manifold. Get a part # there. With 570cc you know which B&S family member it is.
