Default 670 carb

I have a club car with a 670 in it. I had two knee surgeries and did not start it for over a year. Now it won’t start. Carb is getting fuel but no fuel past the carb to the engine. Engine will fire if you prime it. But can’t get fuel from carb. I am going to pull the carb and take a look. Any advice from anyone familiar with the 670 carb? It says on the engine to run it at least 20 minutes every 3 months. But I missed that by several months. Thanks

Prob a fuel related issue. Today's gasoline has a lot of ethanol in it and that causes fuel to go bad quickly. Using additives and/or stabilizers will help, but 1 year old fuel will prob not run. Sounds like it's varnished up on the pilot jet, that's the smallest one. Could also have the white powder in the bowl from the ethanol. Either will clog up the pilot jet. If you are able to take the carb apart, just use a very small piece of copper wire to poke into the pilot jet, and other jets, but removal and cleaning is not a bad idea. Ultrasonic cleaning is the best way.

I drained the tank and put new gas in. The gas that was in it had stabilizer in it. I will pull the carb and look it over. I just wasn’t familiar with the 670 carb and I thought some one else may have had the same Problem. Thanks for the input.
