![]() Attached is what I think is the rear diff in that EZGO. It looks like the input shaft is supported by two bearings, which is good. Now I just wonder how the sprocket is attached. If you grab the sprocket and pull/push does it have play? Does it want to flop around? If yes, then you will need to do some work on that and/or the diff itself. If not then you've got yourself a cool project!

![]() Oh, and since you have a free cart don't let convention limit you. I saw a picture of the below cart years ago and looked but couldn't find any more info about it. Then I did the search again today and the guy made an instructables about it! Really cool. But I'm just throwing that out there to remind people that we don't have to stick to convention just because others are. You have a really cool platform to build whatever you can imagine.
