Default 98 TXT Rusted Frame Repair

Looking for some advice on repairing a rusted frame. The damage is fairly bad and some of the frame will need to be cut out and replaced. Has anyone repaired the front end of the frame where the C-channel bends up? I have some bad rust damage right at the bend. Looking for some helpful pictures and some advice if anyone has tackled a frame restoration.

Been there done that. It is not that too difficult if you have a welder and C channel of the correct size.

My cart was rusted out right in the bend. I cut and welded 3 pieces that made the bend then cut the cart in 2 places welded in the replacement section.

Thanks for sending looks like a clean repair. What did you use to coat over your bare steel?
