Re: Extreme Team install
Does it come with a battery meter for the dash?
Any info on how it secures to a CC Precedent? Do you drill holes in floor and just strap it down? |

Re: Extreme Team install
It did come with a meter for the dash and has blue tooth so you can use an app to monitor the battery as well. They come with anchors that screw into the bottom of the battery tray that the straps go through to hold the battery down. It's a killer set up and Blake and Fred are top notch guys with exceptional customer service!

Re: Extreme Team install
I ordered one also
I want to do all the wiring and stuff ahead of time so its a drop in and go since I have no batteries currently and can't even use the cart I have a 2012 cart and I got the set with battery and off board charger (black one with LED display) although I will be putting it on board and will have the ability to use a regular extension cord anywhere I go I will also change out the plug for a regular plug set up my question is since the lithium pack has a BMS can I completely remove my OEM BMS ?? I prefer to remove it completely versus by passing it does anyone know anything about my situation ?? |

My 2016 did not have the the OBC but I do know for a fact that the carts with the OBC get bypassed. If it is bypassed it is no longer needed and can be removed altogether. It seems like your looking for info on removing it? I have seen tons of threads here on removing it. Sorry I don't have that info on hand. |

Re: Extreme Team install
I know how to remove it that's pretty simple
I just wanted to make sure I don't need it before I start cutting wires and removing things |

Re: Extreme Team install
Have had good luck, but neither my app or the battery meter on the battery can be trusted. In the BMS app my battery will die once it gets to about 42%, which would be getting pretty close to 3 rounds of golf. Not sure how many miles that would be.

Re: Extreme Team install
You should do a reset of your battery through the app in the settings. Then fully charge it and go from there. Give Blake a call on this, the customer support these guys offer is incredible. I've been in contact with Blake on a couple occasions and he has been nothing but professional and helpful.

Re: Extreme Team install
Oh and I highly recommend installing the dash meter and shunt to gauge the battery better. It's my understanding that the gauge on the battery box is not accurate and that's why they send out the dash meter and shunt. My meter and the app read exactly the same. Best of luck to you!
