Never tried this, someone sent me an email about about it

Make your own penetrating oil - that's better than KROIL?

atf / acetone mix!

ATF/Acetone works great. Only thing is that you have to use it immediately after mixing. It looses it's effectiveness pretty quickly. Can't be stored.

Yep atf/acetone is a good one that's widely know and shared. Just atf alone is ok.

I tried a torch. (About four times) I had a good quality puller. I suspect that the axle/hub had striped alittle and then rusted together. Sometimes you just got to blast.

#5 Your hub is now stripped out! It may have fallen off the cart already!

#6 Install new ausco hub and enjoy your cart!

The last time I did one on a txt I removed the c-clip on the wheel bearing and pulled the axle shaft and hub assembly out as one piece. I then put it in a tristand pipe vise and with a can of Kroil I was able to beat the hub off with a 3 pound hammer.

If you are trashing it anyway drill a bunch of holes into the hub around the shaft and fill with your choice of penetrating oil.
