looking for engine information on a G8.....my buddy still has not got back with me with the cart serial#. I would like to look up engine rebuild parts today while I am at work to get an idea of cost. Thanks BGW

G8's used a J38 engine, like the G2 and G9. I would wait to order parts till the block casting number has been verified. On a slight slight chance some changed out the engine.
