Default shorter belt ?

has anyone used the 22337 g1 belt on a 4 stroke 295 engine, everyone has told me it will add low end, but once the belt streches will I get my top end back ? I have bought one , but have not installed it. I really hate to lose my 22 mph ! Thanks , Milo

You bought the belt but never tried it?
You can always put your old belt back on if you don't like it.
