Smile Help with caroche!!

I attempted to check my ancient caroche with three twelve volt batteries to see if the electric motor works, but no wheels turning. The only thing I found was there was a clicking sound coming from the relays when I pushed the gas pedal down. What is my next step or part to check??

How many clicks? I'd jump the #1 solenoid (first one on drivers side) and see if cart runs.

Assuming the the old cart is a 5 solenoid set up? The one closest to the driver's side is the master and all the rest are speed controls.

Find your wiring diagram here. Download and print it

Thanks Fixerofcarts, I jumped the #1 solenoid and the wheels turned. At least I know the motor works now!! The only problem is the cart only goes in reverse and it stays running whether the key is on or not!!! Maybe I have something hooked up wrong...
