I live in Peachtree City GA, so there are a few hills around. The retailer I ordered the ICs from had a minimum order quantity, so I have a few extra to play with. I will probably revise the build with a switch at some point. For now, it is easily removable if I choose to revise it. Thanks again for the help!

On a side note, the path system here can be quite bumpy. Did going up in tire size and adding a lift kit make any difference in the ride of your cart?

Been working on converting my speed sensor to get more speed. Ordered the Single hall effect switch made by Diodes Inc ATS137. Used a 9 terminal double throw switch so I can switch between the two speeds. Taped the sensort to the sensor cap and tested operation by pushing the cart and the beeper beeps as it should with either sensor. Road tested and got 14.4 MPH with both sensors and around 10MPH with the switch in off position and both sensors disabled. So what went wrong?????????? Did I use the wrong Hall Switch???

It looks to be wired wrong, if you disconnect everything and only hook up only the new sensor and get it working, i will draw up a schematic for you to hook up both through a switch.

DEAL? ??

I will look up the hall sw later today

I have attached a diagram on how I wired it. I think I have it right and the fact that the motor braking works on both sides leads me to believe both sensors are working?

Thats too much switch for me tie all reds together and all blacks together and just switch the greens. Check sensors at controller using frequency setting on meter, cart on jack stands tell me what freq readings you get.

It is a double pole switch with center off. I am not sure what you mean by frequency at the controller?
