Default Oil in air box

Gettin a little oil in my air box. Gov set too high?

Do check the oil level, especially if your car is lifted.

If the oil level is fine, adjust your valves.... Check the exhaust, but they should still be ok

on most lifted ezgos the dip stick does not reflect the correct amount of oil and will have to much oil if the reading is on the full mark. the correct amount is 1.5 quarts, when you change oil add only that amount and then mark the dip stick to show the correct oil level.

Makes sense. Mines lifted so the motor is at an angle. I think I got almost 2 qts in mine. I'll drain some out tonite. Thanks Jon.

Drain it all out into a VERY CLEAN pan.

Jack up the rear of the engine also, you can raise the rear axle until the engine is level if your short for equipment.

Measure the fresh oil in your engine into a container that is graduated in oz or qts. 1.5qts = 48oz

Thats assuming your not going to put 6 month old oil back in
