Default 1999 DS battery size

Can a size 75 battery fit in a 1999 DS club car? Cart is a long way from a store and my house so it isn't easy to run back and forth. The cart has a group 26 side terminal. The 26s I am finding are all top terminal. The 75 is a side terminal but longer and wider. I know height isn't a problem but I don't know if there is enough extra room to fit a 75. Thanks for the help

Group 60 is the original size from Club Car...
I put a group 75 in my 2007 DS, (same airbox setup)
BUT... I removed the airbox to "squeak" that 75 in there.

The reason for trying a group 75 is I have been unable to find a group 70 or a 26-70 (a 26) with dual posts. In my 1999 a 75 would not fit under the air box. (Others might, chaulk another one up to precision manufacturing?)
It still can be made to fit. Remove the battery hold down bracket. Pull the handle off the neg post side. You may need to file off some of the molding for the handle. The neg post side may still need to be raised a little to clear the air box. Place about a 1/4 in shim under the neg post side of the battery. My cart has a bolt in the bottom of the battery tray. Place the shim to rear side of the bolt. I don't know the purpose of the bolt. Possibly to level the battery. The battery will not be quite level and the hold down bracket no longer fits. I haven't figured out how to fasten any type of hold down yet. Not the best situation but better than having a cart that doesn't run.
