Re: Help !!! Anything better than this oem light
I'm in the same boat. Very disappointed in the low level of the factory headlights even after assuring good contacts and grounds.
I have have been very happy with my prior purchases from Super Bright LED's and am considering some of the lights found here https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/...&view=standard as a possible alternative. Just a suggestion. |

Re: Help !!! Anything better than this oem light
I use the stock lights [like you have] for low beams and a 120w light bar for high beams. Now there is NO question for oncoming traffic as to which is on.

Thanks guys for your help. I guess a led light bar is my best option.

That sounds like a good idea, Where did you mount the light bar? could you post a front view photo of your cart?

Roof, [the higher you mount lights the better they work, less shadows from uneven terrain ect.] Used the stock brackets angled back and made 2 more quickie vertical brackets that bolt to the front drip rail. No more "strobe effect" from the light shaking.

Re: Help !!! Anything better than this oem light
Hello, I am still deciding on the location. I was think about a 12 inch bar on top of the front bumper. I would love to mount one higher but my neighbors might not appreciate it. I wished their was a better option though.

Re: Help !!! Anything better than this oem light
It is not so much the height that your "voisines" will object to but the angle. Aim it closer to the cart and you will have the best of both worlds! Really good shadow free light where you need it most and it won't light up the neighbors bedrooms. Unless you really don't like them,,,

Re: Help !!! Anything better than this oem light
I'm really appreciating this discussion. Thanks.
I'm thinking I will mount my light bar in the area below the windshield and above the cowl. Problem for me with putting it on top is I'm already having issues with low branches on our property. Also, I'm so encouraged about having decent light that I think I will mount another light bar above the back window. Hopefully I could adjust it so that I get some light in the bed as well as behind the cart. That will help a lot working at night. IMG_2530.jpg |

Re: Help !!! Anything better than this oem light
Looking at your cab, I looks like there is a nice spot just under the roof at the top of the windshield. There is some single row 5 and 10 watt led bars that would create "instant daytime" and look factory in that spot. Also protected from branches too!
