Default Oil in the Pulse/Vaccum line to fuel pump

Getting a little oil in the Pulse line to the fuel pump.Only happens at high rpm which puts just enough oil in the fuel pump to choke out the fuel pump and stall the engine. Pull the pulse line off of the fuel pump and blow out the oil and im on my way again. I'm thinking its a bad or maybe dirty reed valve?!?!? Going to pull the valve cover and check the reed and valve adjustment. Any thoughts on this would be Greatly appreciated.( FE400 with counterweight removed. 290 adjustable rockers and a 30mm mikuni carb turning over 6000rpm)thanks

Definitely a possibility... usually it just blows the excess oil out of the breather until it levels off. Never seen it in the pulse line before.

Do you have a droop in the pulse line going to the pump. A droop will cause oil to pool in the line and not drain back into the sump.
