1984 marathon rear seat kit
Does anyone make a rear seat kit for a old skool sled like mine?

Re: 1984 marathon rear seat kit
You might want to consider that the little Robin with its 9 hp was not really designed to cart 4 people around. Unless you are undertaking this project to haul your small children the engine may well bog down on all but the slightest incline. Also you should think to replace or beef up your rear springs with something a little more manly.

Re: 1984 marathon rear seat kit
Just want to second Dave's opinion, I live at an old ski resort (plenty of hills, big and small) and even just having a third person standing in the bagwell and holding on makes the cart struggle on midsized inclines, plus it really taxes the springs (even with the 5" lift) on my 88 Marathon

Re: 1984 marathon rear seat kit
I guess that if I were driving on the level I could carry rear seat passengers but even with just my lardy old *** on board the little cart slows right down on hills. It always gets up them but we are down to 2500 revs. My other consideration is that the bag well is just the right size for my cooler so do I want friends or beer? BTW that's a nice conversion on your beast.
The text? Just google upside down text engine there are plenty of them and they all do fun things, enjoy |
