my 2010 ezgo with the 400 cc motor is a dog all my friends with the 295 motor run circles around me dealer no help any ideas

need more info on cart. Are you lifted? Have you checked the position of the gov?

I'm not sure this is common on all of the new carts but my neighbors new EZ GO is much slower than my older on.

+1. The new EZGO's are governed to 16 MPH, Mine now runs a steady 32MPH without bouncing off the governor. It has always provided me with much more torque,climbing and pulling power than my older carts could come close to providing, If you have added larger tires you may want to index the driven clutch for even more low end torque.

my cart has a 4 inch lift with 20 -11-10 tires how do i check the govener ?
