rebuilt engine in ezgo have extra parts?
Rebuilt my eingine in my 94 ezgo. I started this project last year and im re-instaling this engine in the cart. I cant remember this spacer? Anybody know were it gos? May be something that got put in my parts bucket on mistake? Also i cant remember were the grounding strap bolt to it has two eyelets not sure anybody? here are some pics.

I think you need to put one on the moter and the other on the frame.
As for the spacer I dont know. Any time I take anything apart I make a drawing of it or if I can I take a picture of it. That helps me a lot. |

i was thinking one went to the genarator-starter and the other went to the motor but im not to sure!

That looks like the spacer/washer for the secondary clutch bolt!

ground wire-battery to frame to engine.

The ground cable goes from the batt. to the frame to the starter generator and up under the small 10mm bolt that holds the fan shround and coil bracket on. As for the spacer, it looks like the shim that the drive on driven clutch bolt goes through to hold the clutch on. I can't see the other side so I can't be 100 percent sure.

there is alot of spots on the starter -gen not sure where? anybody? i will check the space when i get to my shop in about an hour

do you have a 2 0r 4 cycle? i was assuming 2.
