Cart leans to one side
I recently purchased a modified E-Z-Go Jacobensen with a Honda 24 HP. I noticed the cart leans slightly port side, (left). Also, the heim on the motor mount is not straight up center and is canted left. Anyone see any potential issues or problems? Could this be the facter for the slight tilt? Thanks!

Re: Cart leans to one side
Slide over J/K, post some pics of the cart and the hiems that you concerned about.
My guess is you have a long travel rear suspension on it? |

Re: Cart leans to one side
Most work carts have only one passenger in them most the time... It tends to wear out just the driver's side spring.

Re: Cart leans to one side
I have a cart that has the drivers side frame rail rusted out where the rear swing arm mounts. It leans to one side also.

Re: Cart leans to one side
Here are a couple of pics. the one of the heim that is canted left on the motor mount. With the weight of the big block, I was not sure if the slight misalignment would cause the cart to lean left or not..
Also, the rear suspension is new with 16 inch coil over shocks... came with the Honda motor kit.. The front, leaf springs and shocks seem fairly new, but I can deffinately tell that left side is spongy. |

Re: Cart leans to one side
That looks like the Stretch kit. I think those are Proggesive's shocks? You should be able to load the left coil by turning the collar on top of the shock.
Actually, I think the shocks are upside down?? Scotty, help! Does it make any difference if the shocks are installed that way or the adjustment collar on the bottom????? |
