Crash, clearly grammar is your hobby horse and I tend to agree with you. When I see a horribly constructed question I generally walk away assuming that the poster will not comprehend my reply. I think that the issue revolves around the fact that kids these days (kids these days, doesn't that make me sound like a miserable old curmudgeon?) have learned to communicate via a text phone and now believe that it is an acceptable form of English. It is our duty to educate these little feral children so that they get well paid jobs and pay lots of taxes in order to keep social security and medicare alive. Then I shall be having the last laugh from my rocking chair.

Chris you're back! Man have I missed your snarky comments. When I need cheering up I re-read the thread about drilling out carburetor jets, classic stuff. For my part I once wrote a post that so inflamed the passions of the great unwashed that a moderator closed the thread down. Happy days indeed.

Scooter, the sparky stumbled in here because he was lost and we need to be a little charitable here. You see the human brain is not designed to tolerate the electro magnetic forces thrown out by those big motors and as a result they all have frontal lobe damage. This is why all sparkies talk nonsense, dribble a lot and wander like lost little lambs into the real cart section.

Anyway I have noticed that the only reply of any worth that the kid got was from Brew City (ever the gent) so here is my $0.02. Kid there is nothing of any worth you can do to a golf cart. It is all hideously expensive and there are no short cuts. Even if you do get it to go faster than your wettest of dreams it has brakes designed to stop you from 12mph. If you really have the need for speed then I suggest you get yourself one of those little crotch rocket motorcycles but please don't kill yourself Medicare needs your input.

I am sure that Brew City will have much more sensible replies than this litany of drivel if he ever logs on. Sadly I know that he likes to spend Saturday morning lying between silken sheets being serenaded by dusky maidens singing America the beautiful, accompanied on 18th century lyres whilst female midget porno stars peel him grapes and play this little piggy went to market, so you may have to wait a while. Personally I settle for a nice cup of tea and a slice of white toast but who am I to judge.

Dave

Dave, your post made my morning.

Now about the language, you kiss you mother with that mouth?

Spend some time surfing the search option in the blue bar above, there is a lot of good info here and good people to help when you find your direction.

And Welcome to BGW!!!
I didn't know we had to use proper grammar, it's summer break, but thanks for the welcome I guess. :)
And me,compared to the other kids who are walking around one censored word isnt bad, also i am not mentally the avg. 14 yr old my mind-set rivals that of the avg. 18-20 year old.

well,im pretty intellectual for my age,9th grade trying soon to be class president, had opportunity to skip both first and second grade,so I'm not the run of the mill teenager that bases there life around texting and sitting behind a computer on facebook ,I'm the one who's jumping into caves, mudding, working on cars, and hunting in my free-time just thought I'd share
also, brakes I'm sure I could improvise I'm close with two salvage yard owners and have a great uncle who restores anything that runs on gas and plenty of friends at oreilys and money isn't that big of a object as I can get odd jobs.

Well, the Maidens are on their requisite Union Break, and after my third cup of coffee and a half-hour wasted stumbling over naked midgets and the squish of my feet as I turn the gilded carpet a nice mottled shade of Merlot while searching for the Tylenol, perhaps I should take a moment to enlighten the thread with my opinion ...

....

Naaaah - it's supposed to be like a bazillion degrees today, I have other fish to fry, namely searching down some of those really cool huge bamboo fans - I've got the bulk of the day off, and I'm not paying these ladies for nothing :)

(As the magical sounds of the Ukelele fade into the distance.......)

Wow, there's some good stuff in the gasser neighborhood. I truly enjoyed reading this thread this morning...

Welcome to BGW Kid!

Since I'm a sparky, the only advice I can give is save some pennies and put some brakes on that thing like the other guys said....before you get it going 40 MPH!

crash, at least the kid can spell and type, unlike some on here.
kid welcome to forum. we are happy your here and impressed with your academic skills. know nothing about gas speed issues, but i would at least start with a 4 stroke. that way you could easily (maybe) swap in a big block. check the big block section for details.
now with an electric, they are easy to make go faster, are quieter and cooler. i may get some grief about this tho.
