Default Any source for a G5 voltage regulator??? NO START

I have a G5 Sun Cruiser that intermittently wont start, the throttle switch signal is getting to the voltage regulator, but the voltage regulator is not putting out a signal to the solenoid. my Logic says the voltage regulator is shot, yeah?

anyone have a source on these? I dont show them in my Nivel catalog.

Thanks!!

My first question is , does the voltage regulator still handle charging your battery (14.5 to 15.5 volts)?, if not, neew avr. Since the avr is (j50-81910-00-00 suggested retail $189.66), does care the red/white wire through it for the solenoid energizing circuit, I can see 2 possibilities. 1-buy a new avr. 2nd-take a "jumper lead (like a scotchlock connector) and run a seperate lead from the red/white stop switch lead straight to the solenoid. This would allow the solenoid to energize when the pedal was pushed and still give the needed voltage to the avr. Sounds right, I'd go with the new avr. Good luck on your fix.

Does this look like it? My book says this is for Yamaha G1/G2/G9 Gas 1978-1991. http://www.jasonsgolfcarts.com/Volta.../volt-0006.htm
