Default 2004 Yamaha Gas- A good Cart?

Carrying gas cans and tools up and down to the boat dock is getting a little tiring. One of my clients has a golf cart I'm thinking about buying.

It's a 2004 Yamaha Gas cart that is in good condition with lights, rear seat/storage tray and a stereo. He bought it for personal use and it has never been in a fleet.
He upgraded the tires to 10" aluminum wheels and knobby tires.

Question: Is this a good reliable cart? I have Yamaha outboards and Jet skis and know they are great, just don't know anything about Yamaha Golf carts.

Is there things i should look for before purchase to determine the condition?
And the million dollar question is: HOW MUCH SHOUD I PAY for a cart like this?

Thanks,

charlie in GA

G22 was one of the best cars Yamaha ever built! , I beleive better then the new model G29 "the drive". 1900.00 may be low, but he can always counter offer. Good luck

They are very reliable if basic upkeep is followed, just as you know about boats.
Perhaps he will barter with you for future work?
