Default Rocker arms look dry on my G2

I removed the valve cover on my G2 to check the valve setting and the rocker arms didn't look like they were getting much oil. Any suggestions?

The valve train get's it oil from the metal tube (comeing up the back of the cylinder), but for it to work, the "one way" check valve (located on the passanger side of the valve cover) must be good. If you take it off, you should be able to blow thru it, but not suck thru it.

I checked the valve and it seems ok.

Might try blowing thru the metal tube to check for a restriction. Are the rubber hoses good? Was the engine ever apart? The oil slinger has to be on the end of the rod. What is the compression at wide open throttle?

The engine was apart. I honed the cyl and replaced rings and rod bearing. The oil slinger was on the end of the rod. I have not checked the compression. I will check that metal tube in the back. The other lines are in good condition.

The metal tube is clear. I will check the compression later.

The compression was 150. Lower than what I would have thought.
