86 sun classic exhaust
i have a yamaha, 86 sun classic gas powered,2 stroke cart,model G3A.
where the exhaust pipe comes off the eng there is a butterfly assimbly in the exhaust and is attached to the throttle. can someone tell what the purpose of this.what does it do? |

It closes when the throttle closes to give better low-end response.
