Newbie needs advise on Lift kit & Wheel/Tire selection
Hello guys/gals. I'm a "newbie" and I need advise before I purchase what I need to do what I want. I have a 2004 EZGO 36v Electric stock cart. I will be using mainly for cruising the neighborhood with the family. I want to install a rear flip seat, change the stock spring leaf with a heavy duty 4 spring leaf. I also want to install a Jake's 6" spindle lift kit and change stock wheels/tires to Madjax Element Black Golf Wheels 14" (3+4) Fusion ST 205x30-14 Tires. I'm not planning on doing any mechanical upgrades for now. Am I ok with this idea or will I be setting myself for failure? Thanks for your input in advance.

Re: Newbie needs advise on Lift kit & Wheel/Tire selection
IMHO, the lift with low pro tires will not be good. you won't like how it looks. that coupled with a 4 leaf HD spring will make for a very harsh ride. If you're set on lifting it, go with at least 22" tall tires and a medium duty spring. that will take some of the harshness out of the ride. It may be a bit of a dog on 36v, so you might check with ScottyB for a 48v kick in the pants upgrade. Good luck with your project!
