Default 2004 TXT Series click

Puzzled about my TXT 48V series cart. Just replaced F&R switch, Alltrax 4800, HD solenoid, all cables, and ITS, and key switch. Cart was running good until yesterday and now nothing but solenoid click and green light on controller unit. did the manual check on the motor with jumper cables jacked up and she runs. Molex connector removed and wired straight, micro switch at ITS is working and reed switch is disabled. Any ideas would be a blessing, THANKS

Connect your DVM between the controller's B- and M- terminals.
Press pedal just far enough to make solenoid click and you should measure battery pack voltage (50.9V when fully charged).

If you do, the ITS throttle or the controller are the likely suspects.

If you don't, the cables, connections and contacts are the suspects.

Voltage reads 47.7 across b- and m. Plugged up onboard charger and got 50.6 volts.

If you got 47.7V after the solenoid clicked, your batteries were less than 40% SoC.

Charge them overnight.

Okay, you get about 50.9V when the pedal is pushed just far enough to make solenoid click.

Slowly push pedal to floor and the voltage ought to smoothly decrease to about zero.

IF it doesn't, check the ITS throttle voltages. You have an Alltrax controller so there ought to be 10V between the black and white ITS wires with the pedal up and 6V with the pedal down.

I am on my second ITS form over seas and the voltage is 6.43 on activation and goes to 4.53 when peddle is on floor.

Find the 4 pin in-line connector at the end of the gray cable coming out if the pedal box and replace it with individual butt-splices or solder joints. Use marine grade (adhesive filled) shrink to to make the joints water proof.

If that doesn't fix it, then the ITS sensor or controller might be bad.

Unplug the ITS sensor at the controller and measure the voltage between push-on terminals, Ought to be above 10V when solenoid clicks.

If it is, the sensor is bad. The $20 ones from Amazon work just fine.
