Re: info needed
I'm willing to help, but cannot figure out what you have or what you are asking.
Enter your cart's serial number here to find out what it was when it left the factory. http://www.shopezgo.com/customer-ser...ialNumber.html Post a picture of charger, so it can be identified. Then try posing your questions in something other than a single run-on sentence. |

Re: info needed
Forgive literary omissions : The cart is a 99 txt std. The charger is ezgo brand,36v.
that came with it . YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE Cable and contacts mentioned in previous post ,IF PIX are good. One is pos One is neg. I assume some thing is missing ,never saw this type before ,even breif pix on web site you sited shows single cable on charger cord. I am not really Cart savy ! PIX I hope will help ,anything else you need just let me know! I assume seat and cover would be cheaper if done locally ,Upholstery shop ,but I thought I'd ask . Thanks for your response,Carl |

Re: info needed
I believe this to be a "homemade" add on as I have never seen an extra set of wires like this. I would be intersted to know if that second wire goes into the large plug on the other end (where it goes into the cart).

Re: info needed
I see no provisions for any connections any where .Is it possible it was rigged to another amp
or volt meter in a attemp ,either accuracy of main one or read the voltage. My concern was that some thing might be missing and I didn't want to screw up something. The fact that it's used ,and GOD only knows who or what has done before . I can't think of any other 36V appliance he would be trying to charge at the same time .thanks ,Carl |

Re: info needed
Cut and reattach the plug and get rid of that second wire before anyone gets hurt.

Re: info needed
That sure looks like an accident looking for a place to happen.
Glad to hear you are getting rid of the mystery wire. Other than that, you've got a charger that is built like a tank and is 100% repairable. Attached is a service manual for it. You can download an Owner, a Service and a parts manual that will work for your cart from the Stickies at the top of this forum. They are the first three .pdf files in this post. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...g-manuals.html The years listed on those manuals are a little newer than your cart, but EZGO didn't re-invent the wheel every year like the automakers did. |

I recognize that .... it's a universal plug for the radio toaster
Lots of guys are making these from old resistor coil conversion parts. |
