Default Magic wire

So I have been talking with Scotty B and he can't seem to find the answer to my problem. My cart powers up, ignition works, F/R works, and so does electric gas pedal, but only when I connect wire from Alltrax B+ to Solenoid small +. The solenoid clicks and the cart is fully functional. No LED warnings from controller and the diagnostics with computer are flawless. Remove "magic wire" nothing works. HELP!!!!

Perhaps you have the small 48v supply wire connected to the wrong side of the solenoid. Talking about on the big posts.

What do you mean by that. In my diagram I do not see a small 48 v wire going to big post?

There should be a small gauge 48V wire going to the battery side of the solenoid big posts. In series with that wire is a 3 amp fuse. IT's there on my YDRE wiring diagram. That supplies 48V directly to the run/tow switch.

Here's a picture of how the solenoid should be wired. Note Positive is on the right. (edit) Looking at your other post I see that you have the 48V supply wire connected to the small post instead of the large post.

Which is why it requires the "Magic Wire". Move the 48V supply to where it belongs and things will probably work correctly.

The small contacts are the “switch” activation. One side is ground and the other is power from the key switch. Only one wire per side on the small screws on my cart

Somewhere there has to be a "small wire" to supply the + power to the key switch. Most.common it is at the same big solenoid terminal that the big cable from the battery pack + connects to. If it's on the controller side it doesn't get powered untill the solenoid is engaged

Well according to Scotty B you connect that wire to the small post. Also I dont have a run tow switch.

Yes there is a small wire that brings 48 volt to the solenoid small terminals. However there also needs to be something that takes the 48 volt to the key switch.
